In 2006 the Gaslight Anthem released
a three song CD-R entitled 'The Sink or Swim Demo '06'. That same
year one of those songs, 'Drive', was included in a compilation, 'Go-Kart
Vs. The Corporate Giant, Vol.4' (29 August 2006, Go-Kart Records), which
must presumably count as the band's first commercial release. Their
first album, 'Sink or Swim', was released by XoXo records on 29 May 2007.
A four song EP, 'Señor and the Queen', followed on 12 February 2008
(released by Sabot Productions). 'The '59 Sound', their second album
(which is often mistaken by reviewers for their debut album) was released
by SideOneDummy on 18/19 August 2008. The Gaslight Anthem's third album,
'American Slang', was released on 14/15 June 2010.
